Final four prediction:  Kansas, MSU, San Diego State, Michigan.  Kansas will be the champion.

DWTS:  Davis, White and Purdy the final three with White the champion.  Non athlete dark horse:  Danica McKellar.  Is it just me or does Erin Andrew sounds like a man?

I will have to comment later when I take a good look at the brackets. But I will stick with my prediction of MSU as champion.

Since I don't watch DWTS, I will just have to make a blind prediction that Davis and White will be in the top four. I can see Purdy and Danica there too. My dark horse is the 17 year old Australian guy.

I heard that they will be switching partners at some point, so that will hurt some people who have really good pros. At this point, I think Davis is the best dancer. Too bad she looks like one of those people from Avatar.

  2. There are more than a dozen teams who can win it. Any top 4 seeds are capable so that makes 16 teams already. I think MSU got a good draw. Both Virginia and Villanova are very beatable.

Same with DWTS. About 6 people can win. I picked White only because he started with a relatively new pro and still got 9s. He changes to Cheryl then his chances will even be better!

OK, I finally went through the brackets. I was going to do the billion dollar challenge, but found out I was too late to enter!

My Final Four is: Arizona, Louisville, Florida and MSU.

I can't believe that I actually picked these teams. I don't like Arizona, but the bracket sets up nicely for them, until they play Louisville.

So I have Louisville vs. MSU in the final. And of course I picked MSU earlier and I'll stick with it.

I am picking St. Joe's to advance to the Elite Eight. I think they are this year's Cinderella. I also have NC State, which had a play-in game beating St. Louis. Then they will lose to Louisville.

The one matchup I had trouble with was Kentucky/Louisville. I had Kentucky beating Wichita State. I think Kentucky matches up well against Louisville. Plus, it's a rivalry game, so anything goes. In the end, I picked Louisville because of the experience.

I forgot to mention about Erin Andrews. I don't think she sounds like a man. She just has an annoying voice. Though she speaks like a guy and her style is less formal than Brooke Burke. I thought she did OK on Monday.

I heard that the ratings were the lowest ever for the first show. So that's not good news. If they don't turn things around, that show may be gone sooner than later.

Well there goes my Cinderella! St. Joe's had that game in the bag but choked it away. Both teams stunk it up last night. NC State also choked. They had the lead late in the game. Ugh. My brackets are busted!

  5. It seems you copied Obama as he also predicted MSU beating Louisville in the finals. You should feel confident because wasn't it Obama who said that if you like your team you can keep your team as champions? Heh, heh!

I enjoyed seeing Duke lose, not only because they are a nemesis to Michigan, but because Mercer starts five seniors which almost never happens anymore. It shows that less talented players with more experience can beat a much more talented but very young team. Maybe schools will recruit more players who will stay 4 years instead of those one and done players such as Jabari Parker.
