Couple more observations about racism.  I am wondering if Asians with torches are walking around saying black and white people are inferior and there are counter protesters, will Trump say both sides were at fault?

ESPN changed announcer Robert Lee's assignment from the Virginia football game to another game because they worried that the name would cause trouble in Virginia.  This is as dumb as complaining about the USC horse mascot named Traveler mentioned in the last blog.

Racism is not limited to any race.  Chinese rapper Fat Shady raps about f--king stupid foreigners.  Why do rappers everywhere use obnoxious lyrics like this?  Can you imagine a foreigner walking down the street in China and hear this from bunch of young punks?  It shows racism is everywhere.  Ironically, China has not censor this!

You can also say that racism is all over the globe. Let's not kid ourselves that Asians discriminate against other Asians (as well as other people). I guess the thing to remember as a free thinking people, is to be better than that. It's tough to do when you grow up in a society that doesn't value other people. It took years for my dad to like any Japanese people. This has a lot to do with having his village taken by the Japanese during WW2. Can you blame him for not liking Japanese people? But he has come around a bit in his old age. He even had a Japanese dentist!

We have a family friend named Robert Lee. I always thought it was funny that was his name. I wondered how he was named that. Did he know who the civil war general was? Reminds me of this kid I knew. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pan, thought they'd name their son after a famous person they heard about. Thus, they named him Peter. True story.

Funny you should mention torches. I was at my local hardware store, wearing my Red Wings shirt and thought about buying some tiki torches, since they were on clearance. Then I thought better of it (especially since the mosquitoes haven't been as bad this year)!
