Can you pick out which statement(s) below is/are examples of sarcasm?

We have this virus under control.
This coronavirus thing is a hoax.
By April we will have no cases.
We will have tests for anyone who wants one.
We have plenty of masks and ventilators.
My uncle was a professor at MIT so I am very good at science.
Liberate Michigan, Virginia and Minnesota.
Take hydroxychloroquine, what have you got to lose?
Can we inject light and disinfectants into the body?  Seems very interesting to me.
We should inject disinfectants into the brain of a certain leader of the free world to protect him form COVID-19.

I took all of them as jokes. From the Joker himself! It doesn't matter because I doubt any of these will change people's minds. The one piece of truth he spoke was "I Could Stand In the Middle Of Fifth Avenue And Shoot Somebody And I Wouldn't Lose Any Voters" so I take everything he says with a grain of salt now. In fact, the press should just ignore his press conferences that he was using as campaign rallies and to push propaganda videos.

I am interested to see what is going on with Kim Jung Un. Do you think he's dead or close to it? Do you think much will change if his sister comes to power?

  2. I thought that Trump's advisors want him to stop doing the briefings since he says something stupid every time (not sarcasm). But I guess he will keep doing it and tell more lies and stupid remarks.

Who knows what Kim Jung Un's condition is? Trump claims he knows. I am sure Trump knows everything. (sarcasm) If Kim dies and the military does not take over, his sister will probably be the new leader. Kim doesn't have a son and his daughter is only about 8-9 years old, I think. He had killed his older brother. His older brother has a son called Kim Han-Sol who is probably in hiding somewhere. He is considered possibly pro-opening up the country by western nations. So maybe the U.S. and others will try to help him take power. I doubt it would work but if it does, I can see a movie about him called Han Solo, with Harrison Ford playing him!

Most likely there will be chaos and a military strongman will come out on top. But if Kim's sister wins, it maybe good. Look at the countries which are doing well in the pandemic. New Zealand, Taiwan, West Germany, Finland, Iceland and Denmark are all led by women. You can even throw in Carrie Lam of Hong Kong if you are not one of the protesters!

I read this column from the Washington Post. While it would be great if some of this happens, I think this is a pipedream. I wonder if some of these votes could ever by anonymous. If that were possible, these Republicans could get away with not voting for Trump.
