Well, I guess Tom Brady is Superman!  I can point out that K.C. played poorly, not like the team with the best regular season record.  I can point out that K.C. committed stupid penalties on defense.  I can point out that they somehow gave up a touchdown at the half after seeing how Brady did that to GB two weeks ago.  I can point out that TB coaching staff out coached the K.C. staff.  But hey, there must be some reason that Brady has played in 10 Super Bowls and won seven.  This time at age of 43, playing on a different team and system.  There must be some reason that New England did not make the playoff this season and TB wins the championship after not making the playoffs for who knows how many years.

I guess Bill Belichick is a lot smarter when he has Brady, and not the other way around.  But at least Belichick is smart enough not to accept the Medal of Freedom from Trump.  Bruce Arians is a lot smarter this season at 68, the oldest coach to win the Super Bowl.  Given that, maybe Brady can work with others.  Maybe he can help Fauci in the battle against COVID.  After all, Brady is not just the GOAT, but he is really Superman!

I can't deny the success and achievements by Brady. I don't have a problem giving him the GOAT name. He deserves it. Though I do think there have been better quarterbacks but you can't disregard results and he is the most decorated QB ever.

Would he have won if he was on the KC squad with two linemen out? Maybe he should play for the Lions and if he can get them to the Super Bowl and win, then he IS Superman!

Bottom line is that the management at Tampa did a great job of assembling a team around him. Brady says he will be back so maybe we will get a rematch next year. Give me a healthy Mahomes any day over Brady but in the end, I'd rather have the 7 championships! Maybe Mahomes will catch up to Brady at some point. It's like Tiger trying to catch Jack!

  2. I don't know about there are better quarterbacks. There are a lot of qbs who can throw better, there are a lot qbs who can run better and there are qbs who can throw better and run better. But there is something about Brady that makes him better than all those.

Yes, if they play next season, I will take KC again. But what Brady and TB did this year was amazing. You can say that TB won because, well, anyone can win one game. But TB beat NO and GB and KC in a row. By the way, Brady faced Breese, Rodgers and Mahomes who all can throw and run better than Brady and are younger also. So that is not an anyone can win on a given Sunday situation. TB started 7-5 and won 8 in a row after that. They didn't get a lot of new players after 12th game. I think Brady figured things out after learning the new system and players around him. Those are the intangibles that you can't measure. He has been in the Super Bowl half of the time he is in the league and won 70% of those games. It is hard to win 70% against all the teams, not just the ones who make it to the Super Bowl.

Well, I don't think even Brady can win with the Lions. They did get a better end of the Stafford/Goff deal, I think. Stafford has to win the Super Bowl to justify the trade whereas if Goff leads them to the playoffs, he will be admired in Detroit. Stafford only has about 2-3 years to do it but Goff has about 10 years to do it. But if Stafford wins in LA, then the Lions need to get rid of everybody from the president to the janitors.
