Guo Wenqui, also known as Miles Kwok, is a Chinese billionaire who had escaped to the United States when he was accused by the Chinese government of corruption, fraud, bribery and rape.  He has been advocating for "democracy" for China since his escape.  Some have accused him of funding the protest movement in Hong Kong.  On June 4, the anniversary of the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests, Guo and Steve Bannon announced the founding of the New Federal State of China!

Yes, the same Steve Bannon who was the trusted aid of Trump, the spreading of fake news on the coronavirus pandemic and supporter of white nationalists.  So Guo and Bannon are announcing their goal of overthrowing the Chinese communist party which is the same as the overthrowing of the Chinese government.  Their announcement is on Youtube.

I don't know how much money Guo has and if he is funding the protests in Hong Kong.  Some Hong Kong protester leaders have called for the people on the mainland to rise up against China.  Given Steve Bannon's relationship with Trump, this is rather scary.  Someone close to the president of the United States is advocating for the overthrow of the country that is a threat to the super power of the U.S.  If someone close to Xi calls for the overthrowing of the U.S. government, what would the response from the U.S. be?  A cold war can be turned into a hot war quickly.

I've never heard of this guy before. How did you find out about this organization? We know that there are some deep pockets behind Bannon that cause chaos. But did they just start this organization? I suppose they are doing this to help Trump's campaign by causing anti-China rhetoric. But there can't be any way this will topple the regime in China. I wonder if Trump will side with them. I also wonder if the Democrats will distance away from them or what they'll say about them.

  2. I was watching Youtube about China when I came across Miles Kwok who is actually Guo. Googling Guo led to Steve BAnnon association and their declaring of the founding of New Federal State of China. I didn't find anything on this on CNN which is surprising and I wonder if this is real. But then I saw Steve Bannon announcing this himself on a video posted on Youtube channel of a Penny Kelley. She looked like a big supporter of Trump. So this is real and even though the mainstream media is not taking it seriously, you can never know how much this is going to escalate with Trump.

Like I said, nobody is taking it seriously so far and so the Democrats don't have to respond. I believe that Trump is not going to try to anger China more at this time. But he is falling in the poll fast and there are not too many things he can do to get the nation behind him. One of those things would be a conflict against China. So who knows what may happen?

The other thing that may give Trump some help today is the calls for defunding the police. There are obviously bad cops out there but most people do not believe that severely weakening the police is good. So if the call for defunding gets louder, Trump will respond with plea for law and order and claim the Democrats are controlled by the mob.

I am not sure what is the best way for the Democrats to deal with this since it seems to me that there is a good portion of anti-China sentiment right now. So bringing this out that Trump's guy is doing this may hurt them. I don't know if Trump goes out all to go against China that it would help him unless the Democrats end up defending China. So, my guess is that they would support some sanctions and say that Trump is trying to do it for political gain.

The thing about defunding the police, is that Biden has come out against it, so I can't imagine that Trump will get much of a boost here. The bad thing is whoever started the defunding movement mishandled the naming of it. There is some merit to what they want to do, but I can't imagine that a lot of people would want to actually defund the police so that there were no police. Even though there is blame for some bad apples, there are some good cops out there and their service is greatly needed. I personally would want more funding for police so that they can use it for training and being able to recruit and use it for psychological testing on candidates.

Maybe I have the wrong idea. But to me, that seems more reasonable.
